This post is a recording of the recent talk I gave at Northridge Church.
To introduce the recording, here is a passage from the book:
Victor Hugo once wrote: “There are moments when, whatever be the attitude of the body, the soul is on its knees.” These awe-filled moments were crucial to me because they led me back to joy, back to living. They were signs, samplings, reminders of a lasting and profound happiness that could still exist in my life—proof of something more. Their trail gave me a sense of wonder and of hope.
I imagined that if I could only catch one of these moments, open it, and look inside to see its true nature, then I could find the answer to claiming true happiness, once again.
I did eventually find happiness, but not where I expected.
This talk describes what I found inside happiness:
